Karma Yoga

Traditional yoga class given at a reduced rate as a benefit to the community.

Kundalini Yoga 

A tantric yoga whose primary aim is the awakening of the Kundalini Energy (dormant at the base of the spine) through the practice of kriyas.  Kriyas are sequences of asanas (yoga postures), breath work, mudras (hand positions), bhandas (body locks) and mantra chanting that lead to a predictable result. A kriya usually culminates with the practice of meditation. Kundalini Yoga is called the yoga of Awareness as its practice deepens awareness of the Authentic Inner Self. It’s a very powerful practice that will increase your vitality and self-healing, energize and balance your glandular and nervous system, strengthen the core of your body, while clarifying and uplifting your mind

Kids Yoga Program 

Learning through play is the philosophy of our kids yoga classes. Tailored for each specific age group, these classes combine traditional yoga poses with games and activities such as musical mats,yogi says, and yoga dance. Additionally, breathing and meditation techniques that can be used for self-regulation, as a sleep aid, and stress reduction are practiced.

Yoga for Athletes 

A class for athletes of all abilities who want to experienc how cardio workouts (running, biking, etc.) and yoga can be perfect complements to each other.  Classes will vary  cardio/strength training sequences and alternate those with yoga flows.  The same areas of the body will be targeted with both our cardio/strength and yoga segments.

Tween/Teen Yoga

Traditional yoga practice tailored for this specific age group. Asana flows are designed to encourage body awareness and increase strength and flexibility. Breathing and meditation techniques are taught to help our tweens/teens cope with the stressors they encounter at school and in social situations. All levels are welcome. No previous yoga experience necessary.

Yin Yoga

A distinct style of yoga characterized by gentle, passive asanas held for several minutes each. Each Yin posture is aimed at lengthening and stretching the connective tissue rather than conditioning the muscles. The practice of Yin over time can lengthen these tissues resulting in increased range of motion. All levels welcome.

Burn and Breathe

A strength training and yoga fusion class created to entice the mind, body and soul of all participants! This 1 hour and 15 minute class combines full body strength training with yoga flows to give you the ultimate strength and mind workout. A challenging class with the ability to modify for all levels.

Zumba

Latin inspired dance based class.  One hour of pure fun for all ability levels.
Sneakers are REQUIRED!!

Vinyasa

Yoga poses (asanas) are done in sequences.  Level of class determines both pace and poses used throughout the flows.

Yoga for Mental Well-Being

Gentle class for those looking to restore and rejuvenate their overall outlook.  Classes will incorporate breathing techniques for relaxation, guided meditation, and gentle asanas to help restore and open up your power to heal yourself.  All levels and ages welcome.

Shake Your Soul Yoga Dance (Adult and Child Classes Available)

Kripalu based Yoga Dance Class.  This hour long class maximizes all the physical and spiritual benefits of yoga pranyama and asanas through non-mat based dance movements.   Set to upbeat, popular music, this class is fun alternative to a traditional yoga class.  No previous Yoga Experience Required.

Donation Based Classes

Classes with no fee.  Given to benefit our yoga community.  Donations accepted to subsidize our expenses.
